In this request tutorial by Jennifer I will explain the process of modeling a low poly asset in Maya 2016. In addition I will show you how to create a UV layout for the model and export the UV layout so you can use it as a reference when texturing in Photoshop.
I will also show you how to create a bump map based on the texture map and then apply all of it to the model in Maya 2016.
